Why we sell exactly one scooter

Because this is the one we'd buy our own parents.

It stays steady

Electronic anti-tip stability control — almost unheard of in a travel scooter — actively keeps you level on ramps, turns, and thresholds.

It folds whole

No 4-piece disassembly ritual in a parking lot. One motion, seconds, done. 29 pounds into the trunk.

It actually travels

FAA-compliant lithium battery, parcel-shippable, cruise-friendly. Built for a life that leaves the house.

The 30-second answer

If your scooter needs to travel — car trunks, flights, restaurants, cruises — the So Lite's fold and stability control are worth the premium. If it will live outdoors on rough ground and rarely leave home, a cheaper conventional scooter honestly serves you better.

Asked constantly

Questions, answered like a neighbor would

Does Medicare cover the So Lite?

No — and we're upfront about that. SteadyHome is a cash-pay retailer. We don't bill Medicare or insurance, which is exactly why we can ship fast with no paperwork, no doctor visits, and no waiting on claim approvals. Many customers find the time saved is worth more than the reimbursement process.

Can I take it on an airplane?

Yes. The So Lite uses an airline-transportable lithium battery that complies with FAA rules for mobility devices. Notify your airline 48 hours before your flight and bring the battery documentation (included in the box). Gate agents see these regularly.

How does shipping work?

Free shipping to the lower 48 states. The So Lite ships by standard parcel carrier — no freight truck, no liftgate appointment, no waiting window. It arrives factory-sealed direct from Journey's distribution network, typically within 5–7 business days.

What if it doesn't work out?

You have 30 days from delivery to return it. The scooter must be in like-new condition in its original packaging. A restocking fee and return shipping apply — call us first and we'll walk you through it honestly before you buy.

What does the warranty cover?

The So Lite carries Journey's manufacturer warranty: lifetime on the frame, 2 years on electronics, 1 year on the battery. As an authorized dealer, every unit we sell is fully warranty-eligible — something gray-market sellers can't offer.
